I am really missing Oregon right now. Becky and I have talked about going but we don't have the money right now to go. So we sit here and reminisce about our last trip out to the coast. It is funny that we only talk about that time because we have actually been out there three times in the past two years. I think it is because we had Audrey with us and we had so much fun just being a family out there. Here are some pictures so that you all can feel the same way we are feeling right now.

So recently have been trying to convince Becky that we need to get a VW bus and drive the country for awhile. She is not giving in, which I knew would be the case but I think that I am wearing her down slowly but surely. I am not sure where this idea is coming from exactly but I have the urge to jump in a bus and head out to the coast. We would just chill for a few months roaming up and down the coast just kicking it in little towns. I think that it would be a blast and carefree for awhile (at least until Becky freaked out and then it wouldn't be so carefree). How cool would it be to just get out of town and live the life? AMAZING! Hopefully I can talk Becky into and then we can take off for awhile and leave the rat race behind for a time. Here's to the open road.

V-Day
As you can see I had a pretty great Valentines Day. When I got up this stuff was sitting on the table. A new tie, a new hat, a box of Reese's, and a really nice card. I had a really great day with my family. I am so grateful that I have such a wonderful wife and a beautiful daughter. What more could a guy ask for?

Sundays
Some Sundays I don't want to get out of bed. You know the Sundays where you went to bed to late and you could sleep right on through to Monday? You know the Sundays where it just seems like everything is out to get you from making it to church on time? You know the Sundays that "sneak" up on you and all of a sudden you are going back to work tomorrow and where did the weekend go? You know those Sundays where no matter what you say it seems like you are just ticking your spouse off? You know those Sundays where you go to church and your kids won't behave but you have sat in the middle of a pew and you can't take them out and the Bishopric keeps looking at you and think that you might get a note from the deacon sitting next to them telling you not to come back to church until your children are grown and out of the house? You know the Sunday where you have finally gotten out of the house with 10 minutes to spare only to have your garage door not shut and you sit in your driveway trying to get it to go down for 15 minutes and barely make it in time to participate in the sacrament in the foyer? You know those Sundays where everything is going great and you are feeling the spirit and then the widow gets up and prays for 20 minutes and you are wishing you could get up because you have had to pee since after the youth speaker?
Today wasn't one of those days!
We had a great Sunday from going to church and being there early so I could take care of some scout business for our upcoming stake swim night. To coming home and building a fort with Audrey which we immediately destroyed. And in the middle we all got to take a nap. What a great Sunday.
