Lance Galbraith vs Utah
Steve Silverthorn our favorite goalie
Marty flichel team captain
Becky says that October is my month since we have college football, baseball playoffs and hockey starts. I am going to have to say that she is probably right (Becky you are so smart, and
gorgeous). The
Steelheads opened the season tonight against Utah. This week must not be my week. They played really well but lost in a shootout. I am really excited for the season though, they are a young team but I am stoked about the guys we have coming back with the new guys coming in. The biggest loss for Becky and I though is Lance Galbraith. Lance was our favorite player and will be missed. Lance wasn't the biggest guy on the ice but he was a game changer and I felt that when he was on the ice we had a chance to win. He was also on the Kelley Cup Champion team and was in the first fight we ever saw as hockey fans. So like all minor league sports we say goodbye to old friends and hello to the new guys who we will root for, for a short time until they move up to the
AHL and hopefully to the NHL. Here is to a great season and another Kelley Cup run. Go Steelies!

Sometime I will tell you all about 3 crazy nights in Providence follwed by 3 in Hartford and finishing up with 3 at the Worcester Centrum. I was at a dead show on Memorial day weekend and had Joey June 3rd. Yes,this is the tie dyed past of your uncle Doug's wife.
